1. Overview

VoxFlow is a voice memo application for iOS, macOS, and watchOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how VoxFlow handles your data.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Audio Recordings

VoxFlow records audio only when you actively initiate recording. The app never records in the background. All recordings are stored locally on your device.

2.2 Transcriptions

VoxFlow uses WhisperKit, an on-device speech recognition engine. All transcription processing happens entirely on your device. No audio data is sent to any external server.

2.3 iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, VoxFlow syncs recordings and transcriptions across your devices using Apple CloudKit. This data is stored in your private iCloud container. GoSpace Labs has no access to your iCloud data.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

No analytics SDKs
No advertising SDKs
No crash reporting with personal data
No third-party tracking
No data sharing with third parties

4. Microphone & Speech Recognition

VoxFlow requests microphone access solely for voice recording. Speech recognition is performed on-device using WhisperKit. No internet connection is required for transcription after the initial model download.

5. Data Export

You can export recordings and transcriptions to custom folders (Synology, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). Export destinations are chosen and controlled entirely by you.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud container. You can delete any recording at any time. Deleting the app removes all local data. iCloud data can be managed through iOS Settings > iCloud.

7. Children's Privacy

VoxFlow does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
